Merry Christmas

Good morning!
Today at 4 Crafty Chicks, we have an Anything Goes Challenge
Lori is our hostess for Challenge #379.

Summer found this cool card that she cased last weekend from Pinterest. Should have taken a picture of her favorite one (next time, she is very talented). Click for details from Gemma Evans
DIY Christmas Cards: Reindeer Fingerprint Cards
It was fun to try and do my own take on this card.
It was a little different in my head but I think a reindeer tree is kind of fun.
Creamy Caramel ink is what I used for the reindeer faces, along with my fingers. The noses were made using real red ink and a pencil eraser. A fine tip marker for the antlers and eyes. A green felt marker for the tree, and of course some dazzling diamonds.

An easy design and one that will be so much fun to make with our grandson Emery one day!

Please come and join us this week. We would love to see your creations.
Thanks for sharing this card with me.
Have an amazing day

Let It Snow!

Good morning!

Happy Thanksgiving to our family/friends in the states.

Our wonderful hostess this week at 4 Crafty Chicks is Lori!

For challenge #378 she is challenging us to create using the theme of Winter Activities.

It has been snowing and blowing here so it was fun to think of what stamp to use. I got thinking of all of the snowball fights that we used to have with our kids and snowman building. So digging in my old stamps sets I went.  This stamp set is from Stampin' Up, an oldie but a goodie. Hope you like it.

Please join for our latest challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks!

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Brrr....

Good morning!
I am the hostess over at 4 Crafty Chicks this week
and I have a really fun challenge.
A Recipe challenge.

Challenge #377 - Recipe
1 Bow
2 colors
3 snowflakes.

I love these kinds of challenges but have to be honest, that I struggled with this one. Hopefully this clean and simple design still does some justice for this challenge. I would like to try it again when my mojo is flowing better and share the results of that one with you too.

The red and purple colors were chosen because while out shopping today, I saw someone with a shirt this color. The snowflakes have Wink of Stella on them, wish you could actually see it as it adds a little pop to the them. Everything you see here is from Stampin' Up.

Wishing you an amazing day! Thanks for sharing in this card and please come and join us for our latest challenge.

Christmas Presents

Hello friends! I would like to take a moment and remember our fallen soldiers and the soldiers that continue to keep our country safe. We will never forget and I am very grateful for your sacrifices that were made and continue to be made.

Today, we have a brand new and fun filled challenge for you over at Creative Knockouts. We are on Challenge #219 - Fav Color Combo. I would like to thank our wonderful sponsor this week for letting me use this image. My daughter Kaitlyn had blast coloring her up on our coloring afternoon.

Right now my favorite color combo is black, white and red, it is so bold.
The image above was colored using Copic Markers. Stampin' Up items include: Corner punch, circle/square stitch die, dazzling diamonds, paper and embossing folder. The snowflake embossing folder is from Cuttlebug and the pearls are unknown.

We would really love to have you join us over at Creative Knockouts

Have a great day and remember to smile.

Thanks For Your Kindness

Good Morning! How is your week going? My week is full of some ups and downs but crafting has helped with some of the down moments.

Over at 4 Crafty Chicks our one and only Nance is our wonderful hostess this week.

Challenge #376 - Give Thanks

Love this challenge because it always makes me take just a little extra time to think about everything that I am grateful for. Today, I am grateful for little moments of clarity to help solve struggles we are going through. Nothing like a cup of java or tea to help you think and process life. It snowed here and it was sunny, so I tried to create my space where I was sitting. Such an awesome stamp.

Above I wanted to show my dazzling diamonds for the snow, looking out my window.  My walls are green and the sun was shining beautifully out the window. It was so quiet. Copic Markers were used to color the image which is from Your Next Stamp. The sentiment is from Verve and the paper/punches are all from Stampin' Up. Enamel dots are also from Your Next Stamp.

Thank you so much for joining me; hope to see you again.

Today is my first post being part of  The Merry Christmas Christmas Challenge team!
So stoked to be part of the team, thanks for having me.

It was such a blast to color this cute image with copic markers. The pattern paper is from Echo Park Papers, and the papers are from Stampin' Up.  Out came the dazzling diamonds, enamel dots and ink from Stampin' Up.

Please come and join us at The Merry Christmas Challenge.

Have an amazing and beautiful day!

when you are sad or angry but then someone ends up putting a smile on your face.
This is a perfect sentiment to send them a little thank you for making you smile.

It is made with Stamp set #bff
Die-namics MFT, Enamel Dot's YNS
Stampin' Up Paper Whisper White, Early Espresso, Kraft, chocolate chip ribbon
Lime Twist - Life of the Party

Paper piercing tool

Snow, Snow, Snow!

Good morning! The start of November is a bit blustery as Winnie the Pooh would say. We have had snow and freezing rain on Halloween and last tonight, making the roads very slippery.

It is 4 Crafty Chicks Thursday and that means we have a brand new challenge for you. Our talented hostess this week is our one and only Leanne.

Challenge #375 - Sketch
It has been quite a while since us chicks did a sketch and Leanne has made a fabulous one for us. It sure got the creative juices going. It was really hard for me to decide which items to use, so this sketch you will see some more of.

My card above was made with snowflakes as looking outside yesterday that is all we could see. So out came my snowflake brads that have been sorely neglected. Christmas pattern paper by Echo Park Papers, Early espresso brown and the glitter paper, circle punches, circle dies, snowflake die and the word snow die are all from Stampin' Up. The brown snowflake is a Martha Stewart punch.
My friend Ang, helped me with this creation as she has never made a card before and was fascinated by the whole process. She broke out the pencil crayons and started coloring too.

I am wishing you a fantastic day and please come and join us at 4 Crafty Chicks.

Super excited to share my card with you this month. The above card was made using A Crafty Gals Life Digi and colored up using Copic Markers. The Dies/punch from Stampin' Up and Gina Marie Designs. The pattern paper is from Autumn Splendor by We R Memory Keepers, the solid colors are from Stampin' Up, pearls, pop ups and linen thread . It was really fun layering up the papers and rounding the corners in this this design.

It would be a blast to have you join us for our very first challenge over at A Crafty Gals Life.

Thank you so much for joining me for this exciting news and to see the card. Wishing you all a very, very happy November 1st. Have an amazing day :)
