Peppermint/Celebrate The Season

Good morning! I am super excited to bring my new creation to you for Season's Greeting Christmas Challenge. It run's the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays, Always Anything Goes with an optional twist. You can choose to use the twist or just share what you made with us.

I will share a Christmas creation with you every 4th Tuesday.  I am part of Team Koala along with my other fabby Koala Team. Now I can really and truly start making my Christmas cards for the end of the year.

My card above was made with an image I won from C.C. Designs release several months ago. Peppermint is such a cute image. She is just adorable and so much fun to color up. I did decide to use the twist which was a challenge for me but I loved it. Never thought to put these colors together. Hope you like my card too.

Recipe:
Stamps: Peppermint C.C. Designs, So Many Scallops Stampin' Up
Paper: Stampin' Up: Cucumber Crush, So Saffron, Blushing Bride and Watermelon Wonder, Whisper White and Spectrum Nior paper.
Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento, So Saffron
Accessories: Martha Stewart snowflake punch, Stampin Up 1 1/4 inch circle punch, Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder. Copic Markers, Gems from Your Next Stamp.

I would love to enter my card into the following challenges:

With Sympathy

Good morning! We saw a bit snow the last night and the temperature has dropped from the gorgeous temps last week. However, we know that spring will be coming and a month or two. We enjoyed a fun night last night watching our daughter play basketball. It is hard to believe that their basketball season is just about over.

Lori is our hostess this week at 4 Crafty Chicks and she is asking you all to break out your STENCILS FOR CHALLENGE #339. My fellow DT's have amazing inspiration for you too.

The card above was made for our family friends who lost their son suddenly on Thanksgiving weekend in October. I never seem to have these type of cards made up ahead of time and well they are never easy to make. The stencil I used is one I bought at Walmart and then broke out my Stampin Up inks. The stamp and sentiment are from Verve one of my favorite sets. Although tons of people make beautiful creations with stencils, I always thought I would mess it up somehow. A truly wonderful challenge for me. Thanks, Lori.

I would love to enter my card into the following challenges:
Artistic Inspiration Challenge Blog - Challenge #173 - Anything Goes
Crafting from the Heart - Challenge #147 - Anything Goes

Thank you so much for popping in and sharing my newest make with me. Thank you for all of your comments too.

Recipe:
Stamp: Verve
Paper: Whisper White and Basic Black
Ink: Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze, Memento: Tuxedo Black.
Accessories: Stencil, daubers

Mitten Kitten

Happy, happy Thursday! Today, I am sharing my DT creation with you for our brand new challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks. It is my turn to be hostess at 4 Crafty Chicks! We are on Challenge #338 and I would like to see all of your fun charms.

My card above is using heart charm and bells (that were a gift given too me).  The Merry Christmas Stamp and die were also a gift to me a while back. It was a perfect size for this layout.  My bows (ribbon is from Stampin' Up) were made with my bow maker. The image is under a circle embossing folder. Mitten Kitten image from Miss Daisy Stamps is colored using Copic markers. A brick embossing folder was used in the bottom layer for added texture.

On a personal note, I am excited to have some quality time with all of our kids. Happy Family Day to everyone.

I would love to enter my card into the following challenge:

Daisy Daydream

Hello, crafty peeps! We have a brand new challenge starting today over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends. We are currently on Challenge #51 and it is Anything Goes and our challenges run for two weeks. So break out your crafty supplies and show us what has inspired you.

The image on my card above is from Crafts and Me and they allowed me to use  Daisy Daydream to showcase today.  I want to thank them for letting me work with this image as it was a blast to color her up. My image was colored with Copic Markers and the paper is from Stampin Up. The stitched rectangle die is from My Favorite Things. I loved this image so much that I decided to go with a very clean and simple design. My reason for doing this is the image is so beautiful that I just wanted to highlight her.
