My image was colored using Copics. The rest of the card is made from Stampin Up pattern paper and paper. The dies are from My Favorite Things and the pearls are unknown. The stamp is from Fiskars.

We would love to have you join us at Creative Knockouts for our Something to Say.  My fellow DT's have outdone themselves again. Please hop on over and check them out and then show us your creations.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Your comments are a ray of sunshine to me so thank you.

Thanks!

Good morning everyone! It is already the last Thursday of October and Halloween is just around the corner.

Our hostess this week at 4 Crafty Chicks is Lori! She has a fun filled challenge for us.  For Challenge #322 Lori would like us to color on Kraft card stock. I have never done this before but some of my fellow DT's have and they have made truly gorgeous creations. No exception, this time, they will inspire you.  My stamp is from Stampin Up and the image was colored with Copics. Unfortunately, you can not see the Wink of Stella on this card but it really does make it pop. The punches and paper are also from Stampin Up.

Thank you so much for stopping by to see my newest creation.  Your comments bring a bright spot into my day and are truly appreciated.

Strength Within

Hi everyone! It's time for a brand new challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks.  We are on Challenge #321 and your hostess this week is me.  I would like everyone to dig deep and find a way to create something to inspire someone for our STRENGTH WITHIN challenge.

When I had my accident, I was given very supportive cards, that I read every day to help me on my road to recovery. Even to this day as I can do more, more problems or things pop up and life can become very discouraging, as people don't always want to here what truly is going on in our lives. Encouraging words are so helpful, they can bring light into any kind of situation, good, bad or just to cheer someone on to the next step. It is through dark times that we can help support others or ourselves by finding our courage, strength, and confidence. Strength within can be a very hard challenge to find and be at peace with.

The card above has a Quote from Eleanor Roosevelt that has been my go to the last few months. I have been fearful of meeting new people but after reading this several times a day, there is a plan for me to take. Fight the Fear and Do It Anyway was one of my biggest quotes before my accident and gosh I am going to look fear in the face and do it anyways.

Please join us at 4 Crafty Chicks for our Strength Within Challenge.  I know it is a hard one but our fellow DT's have some amazing inspiration for you.

Wishing you...

Hello! Thanks for joining me today with our first challenge of October at 4 Crafty Chicks.  Our wonderful hostess this week is Leanne.  For Challenge #319 she would like us to break out our Die Cuts.

Please welcome our Guest Designer for the month of October Karen from My Cup Runneth Over.

The idea for this card came from Pinterest. I was super excited to break out my new thinlits from Stampin Up. I thought they were simply perfect for this challenge. I used melon mambo paper and broke out my dazzling diamonds.  I love this saying and thought it is a good encouragement card. It is a clean and simple card hopefully one you will like.

Please join us at 4 Crafty Chicks for our Die Cuts challenge.

Have a wonderful day and thanks for all of your comments they make me smile.

Birthday Elephant

Hello! What a fun filled day we are having. Nothing like enjoying time with family and friends at a wedding.  We have been so lucky this year because this is our second wonderful wedding on Rob's side of the family. It just seems as everyone is getting older, with family and their careers, we don't get to see one another as much as we would like. So today we will be grateful and enjoy every minute of it.

We have a brand new challenge for you over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends. For Challenge #43 Anything Goes. For our newest challenge, Bugaboo let me use this super cute and adorable image (Baby Elephant) used on the card above. This card was made for my daughters, friend who absolutely adores elephants.

My card was colored with Copic markers W1, W3, W5, W7, C00, BG11,BG13, BG15, Y02, Y11, Y15, R35, R37.  I used soft suede ink that I sponged around the edges of the card and the image. The numbers were cut out with number dies from Stampin Up. The ovals were made with punches. The sentiment is from Impression Obsession Rubber Stamps.
