No Stamping Zone

Good Morning! Hope your week has been a good one. I love seeing the sun lately and the warmer weather brings a smile to my face, even if it brings out those pesky mosquito's.

Are you ready to hear about a new challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks? Our wonderful hostess this week is our one and only Lori.  For challenge #195 she would like us to create with a NO STAMPING ZONE (no digi's, no stamps).

On Friday my mom took me to one of our craft stores near by to pick up some paper for printing digi but you know we just had to explore with my daughter. I was simply stumped with this challenge but while looking at die cuts an idea emerged, so of course I just had to buy the both die cuts below.

Here is my DT creation below.

It is a clean and simple creation but hopefully I do the image justice.

Love

*Note: our winners from previous challenges have missed picking up their prizes.  Please look up top at the Winner's Tab to see if you are a winner and claim your prize (please do within 10 days). *

Hello and welcome back to my blog! I am super excited to be sharing my new DT card for Cards Galore Encore Challenge.  A little business first. If you would like to be part of our Design Team please put DT behind your name when linking up your project.  Onto our challenge.

We are on Challenge #5 for the month of May and it is an easy one "ANYTHING GOES".  Our lovely sponsor this month is Blue Moon Creations.  The prize this month will be..... 3 months of club membership (includes one newsletter, 9 digital images, 3 go to sketches).

I was given this image to use on my card. It is a neat sentiment which I believe means love in several different languages.  I decided to make it clean and simple. Layering the sentiment with black, using red ribbon, then a honey comb embossing folder, and then layering with red paper again. The pearls highlight the sentiment even more.  Thank you Blue Moon Creations for giving me this image to use.

I would love to enter my card into the following challenges:

Bella Bride Sassy

Hi everyone! I have been in my crafting room quite a bit lately trying to get ahead on some Design Team projects. My creative mojo is starting to come back so that is awesome.  Today, I am very excited to show you my new creation for Creative Knockouts!  I was very excited to use this stunning image by our Sponsor this week Sassy Studio Designs.  This very cute and elegant image they gave me to use is called Bella Bride Sassy.  She was truly so much fun to work with.

Our Challenge #35 - is Flowers Galore! Now if I was being honest for some reason I find putting flowers on a card super hard.  I love the look when other crafter's do it but this challenge had me really working out of my comfort zone.  Honestly, my flowers were going to be the ones on the image but my friend Leanne told me break out the flowers you got and get them on there.  I will tell you how...LOL.  That she did and I must say it turned out pretty good.  Thanks for boosting my confidence.  Other than that it is really a clean and simple design with a touch of texture.
