Just Wanted To Say Hello

Good Morning! Yesterday, we had a good dose of rain which should green things up nicely and hopefully get rid of a bunch of snow mold. After having some warm temperatures on the weekend, the house feels a little chilly today.

I am excited to show you my latest DT creation for 4 Crafty Chicks. Our hostess this week is our one and only very talented Lori!! We are on Challenge #191 and she would like us to EMBOSS.

My card below used a technique called DEBOSS Using Dies.  I learned how to do this from a fantastic tutorial by Joy Taylor at La-La Land Crafts Inspiration and Tutorial Blog.  I used the Gilded Gates 2 and fussy cut my Milk Coffee image out to make it look like she is walking in front of the gates.  I need a little bit more practice at this new technique but I love the new way to use my dies.  My photo doesn't do this card justice but I can say I am very proud of it.

So today, I am bringing you the challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks.  My challenge to everyone is to use SENTIMENTS ONLY (no pictures please).  Not sure where the years have went but it certainly feels wonderful that we are on our 190th Challenge.

What Cancer Cannot Do

Good Morning and welcome back to my blog! Today is 4 Crafty Chicks Thursday, you know time for a brand new challenge.  We are on CHALLENGE #189 and our very inspiring hostess this week is Tina.  She would like us to use Polka Dots.

Another clean and simple design but I broke out the punch, pearls and used this fabulous pattern paper.  It is bright/cheerful and can cheer anyone up. This is a sentiment that I have not used for a while but there are a few people we know right now that are battling cancer and this sentiment reminds me of what hero's they are!

Please come on over to 4 Crafty Chicks and show us what Polka Dots inspires in you. My fellow Chicks have tons of inspiration to show you.

Thanks for stopping by today! Wishing you a fantastic week ahead.
