Music

Good Morning! What a week it has been for me.  On Tuesday night, I was able to go and watch Tristan's basketball game a first! How I have missed cheering him on and it was awesome to see my old cheering partners.  Saturday was a day for celebrating our sons basketball wins and my husbands work celebrated their 75th year in business. It was nice to go with my mom and dad to support him. It is hard to believe that our accident was 4 months ago this past Saturday and everyday we are continuing to heal.

I am excited to share another DT creation with you from 4 Crafty Chicks.  Our wonderfully talented hostess this week is Lori and she would like us to incorporate MUSIC on your creation for Challenge #183.

My creation is below. The image below is called Tiffany playing Violin by Milk Coffee Digi Stamps. Oh my goodness she was so much fun to color and just perfect for our music challenge! I added glitter to around the embossed part of the spellbinder and on her shoes, earrings and bracelet.
I thought these colours would suit a musical theme.  Add an elegance to this image.

Don't Sweat It....

Good afternoon! I decided a little bit of inspiration was needed to kick me out of my down mood today.  This is the first just for fun card in a while so boy I couldn't wait to share it with you.

I have been looking..well really obsessing over these cute images from From The Heart Digital Stamps.  Each new image that pops up on my facebook page just makes me smile.  The image I am using today is called Birthday Candle BirdBrain.  It is super cute and comes with tons of sentiments to make the perfect card.  They also have sketch challenges each week and today I thought why not use an image and do their sketch.  It really is a super cute one.

Here is my creation.  The outside sentiment says Don't Sweat It..., the inside sentiment says You've got that special Birdday glow!  Now I stuck to the sketch no changes, so it is another clean, simple and layered card.
I started out with Chocolate Chip paper and then went a little crazy with the pattern paper from Flower box Doodlebug Designs inc. Loving their bright colors. The Copic's that were used are Y02, Y11, Y13,Y15,Y17,Y21 (chick); Candle: YG21, YG23, YG25; Drop's: B00, B02.  Then I used a scallop punch and a 3/4 square punch to make the ends on my sentiment and a few pearls to finish.  Bam...a new birthday card made.

I would like to enter my card into the following Challenge (please hover over the challenge name and then click they are linked)
Crafty Cardmakes and more - Challenge #110 - Come Fly With Me

For Challenge #181 Tina would like us to use PEARLS! Who doesn't love pearls.  I know Leanne, Lori, Tina and Debi do.

Feel Better Soon

Hello and welcome to my crafting space! This past week just went poof with my kids having Thursday and Friday off.  Now this week they have Thursday and Friday off.  I do believe they are enjoying it and me too :).  The only problem is now all of my days are getting mixed around....LOL.

thank you so much to everyone who played we had an amazing turnout and we struggled so hard to pick the TOP 4. So today, I have a DT card for our brand new challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks.  Our challenge hostess this week is the one and only Leanne.  She is challenging us to use something, that I have been seeing all over bloggerland.
CHALLENGE #180 - FLAGS and/or BANNERS
My fellow DT's and our new Guest Designer Debi from Debi's Joy have some incredible inspiration for you all to see.

The card below is clean and simple with lots of layers using the Stampin Up Banner Framelit dies. A Martha Stewart punch on the side and buttons in the middle. I haven't used my paper piercer in a while and broke it out to break up the solid look around the middle banner.  The stamp I used is from Verve. My color combo is three of the 4 Colors from  Chromatic Craze (where I am GDT this month).  So the frustrating part with my card is the picture does not give you the true colors, after days of frustration of trying to take a picture that would show you the true colors this is the closest I got.  Thanks Tristan for taking this for me.  The papers I used are Basic Black, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Mellow Moss.

Great Challenge Leanne, you had me thinking on this one.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Crafting By Designs - Month Long Challenge February - Anything Goes
Divas By Design - Die Cuts
Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge Blog - Challenge #163 - Something old and Something New (New Banner Framelits and my Verve Stamp is old)

We would love to see you over at 4 Crafty Chicks, to see what this challenge inspires in you.

Thanks for poppin by! Have an amazing week!
