Fabby New Challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks.

Good Thursday morning! I hope your week has been going good. Mine has been interesting, kids in sports/biking equals injuries for me in the last two weeks. Yesterday, I was lucky to have a visit with my friend Lori yesterday but we didn't get any crafting done. Oh and my internet is not cooperating at all. So hopefully I can get this posted. Now enough about me and on to you our fabby crafters.

So being as today is Thursday you know what that means, a wonderful new challenge brought to you by 4 Crafty Chicks. Now since September has 5 weeks it is our Crazy Egg week and a prize week. So what is our challenge well it is an easy one.

CHALLENGE #57 - ANYTHING GOES!

Here it is! I have made my second Christmas card of the season...LOL. I hope you like the layout and design of it. There is tons of glitter on it but my camera didn't show it to well.

I am entering my card into Make It Monday - Anything Goes

Wahoo! A New Challenge at PPC

Welcome to my blog! I hope you all had a good weekend. The weather was gorgeous this weekend and we spent time walking and doing some clean up. Yesterday, we were lucky to have BBQ ribs with my parents and oh my hubby did a wonderful job. Well I must say that my dad and I didn't fair to well playing crib against my mom and Rob last night but it was a lot of fun. So after everyone left I went down stairs for some much needed time in my craft room. I am not sure why when you are trying to organize you make a bigger mess, sometimes it seems overwhelming. Being a head of the game for my DT cards for Picture Perfect Creations was going super great but alas not anymore *wink*, so I started making a card and went to look at my fellow DT cards to see what they did and started wondering to myself....why is there only two for tomorrows post...wow it must be a super busy weekend. The joke was on me as I was doing the wrong color combo...LOL. My fellow DT's always have so much inspiration to share and I just love seeing what they create each week.

Megan has a color combo that is sure to challenge you this week. Well it did me anyway...LOL. Over at Picture Perfect Creations we are on Challenge #73 and our colors are Calypso Coral, Old Olive and Basic Black.

Good old embossing folders sure helped me with this card I think. I have to say the Calypso Coral threw me off a bit so I went with flowers and butterflies. Stampin Up punches and the butterflies are from a Martha Stewart punch.

With these colors I needed a sketch so I headed on over to Clean and Simple to find one and oh did I. Great inspiration over there. The other challenge I would like to enter this card into is Make It Monday - Anything Goes.

So come join us at PPC and show us what these colors inspire in you. Be sure to check out my fellow DT's there creations are awesome! Can't wait to see what you created.

What does your Monday hold for you? Me I will be doing clean up, driving my hubby to the airport and hopefully doing some more work in my craft room.

Happy Monday! Thanks for stopping bye.

Specialty Challenge #10 at PPC

Good Morning! It is that time again and what can make a Monday even better, well in my opinion it is a new challenge over at Picture Perfect Creations. We are on the third week of September already and well you know what that means. Megan has a new Specialty Challenge for us.

Our Specialty Challenge #10 - use 3 Pattern Papers.

Now my pattern paper on this card was thanks for my friend Lori. She has these amazing 6X6 pads and all of the pattern papers can work together. Something easy for me. Now I usually have a tough time but this one just came together for me *awesome*. Thanks Lori for sharing your paper with your forgetful friend. :) The stamp I used is from Verve, paper early espresso, whisper white, pattern paper??, ink - early espresso, pearls, pop ups, dimensionals, spellbinders

This wonderful sketch is from Techno Stamper. Now I missed entering it last week but I thought it was full of yummy inspiration.
I would also like to enter this card into Make It Monday - Anything Goes and Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes.

My fellow DT's have created some fabulous cards. Do they ever know how to put their pattern paper together for yummy inspiration. Please come and join us for a fun filled challenge at Picture Perfect Creations.

4 Crafty Chicks has a New Challenge

Hi there to all of my crafting pals. Sorry for the late post today. Yesterday after I got home from a super dooper wonderful visit with my peep Lori. I had news that we had a family emergency so I was busy last night and busy today. Mentally exhausted is how I feel but alas things must go on. So in that spirit the laundry is in, kids feed, homework done, phone calls made and a few minutes to sit down and share my card with you.

So today is Thursday and you know what that means, one it is almost Friday oh and the best part of today is that 4 Crafty Chicks has another challenge for you. I am your hostess this week and well I picked one of my fav's and something really easy....are you ready.

CHALLENGE #55 EMBOSSING - HEAT OR DRY

My card is made with two embossing folders Swiss Dots and Stripes (SU). You can't see it but I also took my versa mark pen and went over my image and then clear embossed it. Embossing can just add the wow, wow, wow or just make a simply stunning card by adding texture. The day I made this card was a day that I was enjoying time with my peep Lori. It was an amazing day.

So I hope that you all will enjoy the EMBOSSING CHALLENGE it is an easy one and well there must be others who love it as much as I do. Please grab a cup of java, light some candles, turn on some tunes and join Lori, Leanne, Melissa and myself for a fun filled challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks. Can't wait to see what it inspires in you.

I am adding this card to the following challenges, please check them out too!

New Color Combo at PPC and Happy Labour Day!

Today is the last day of summer holidays for my kids, it is officially back to school tomorrow (I am feeling sad but kind of happy too, doesn't that seem silly?). It is also Labour Day Weekend and so Happy Labour Day folks. This last week I saw some new crafters join me as followers so here is a shout of THANKS out to you it means a lot and to those who have been following me before, I really appreciate it THANK YOU!! I also want to say thanks for all the comments they sure make a person feel good about what I created.

So being Monday we also have a new color combo here at Picture Perfect Creations. We are rockin it out for this color combo #71. Our colors are Pumpkin Pie, Lucky Limeade, Rose Red and Island Indigo. We are bringing out some of the new stampin up colors. Now I won't kid you, all of the colors looked really yummy but I was finding it really hard to put the Rose Red in anywhere...LOL. That is why it is an awesome challenge right? Take a step out of your color box and see what happens...*wink*

I made this card while I was having a crafting day with my fellow peep Lori. I used her stamp's for this one and silly me forgot to write down the names of them. Ink and markers, punches, ribbon and embossing folder are all from Stampin Up. With these fun colors, I thought it would be fun to make it a birthday card and my fellow peep had the perfect stamp. Thanks Lori.

With today being my last day at home we have my two nephews coming. They are getting older and I don't get to see them much, you know how it is job's, friends and girlfriends are more important these days. So food shopping and laundry are a must today. Should have did it yesterday but well I was having a lazy day.

Be sure to come and check us out a PPC. We love seeing what our colors inspire in you. Thank you so much for stopping by and have a fabulous Monday!!
